A species of cactus. It rarely blooms and only at night, and its flowers begin wilting before dawn.
It is native to Southern Mexico and to extensive areas of South America

A well draining mix with lots of perlite works well.

Water when soil is dry, or when flat green sections feel less rigid when squeezed.

This plant can be fertilized with the moderate doses. 1 to 2 times a month in the summer and 1 time every two months in the winter.
